Background performance helps complete the world of a commercial.
Even brief commercial scenes depend on coordinated movement, timing, continuity, and believable environments.
As a Background Actor, my role was to support the visual environment around the principal action without pulling attention away from the central performance.
Commercial sets move quickly, so staying responsive to direction and maintaining continuity across takes is an important part of making the final scene feel natural.
